Breatherite is a personalised support app for people with asthma, with air quality updates and an AR guide to breathing technique.
We wanted an app that helps every day, with a daily report on how weather and air quality may affect asthma.
Product Design
I led design, starting with stakeholder discovery sessions and design thinking. Our research found that asthma patients were using their inhalers incorrectly.
We refined our concepts over several rounds, then prototyped. The prototype shows that augmented reality can ensure users have the correct inhalation technique.
AR detected the inhaler’s position, angle and post-inhalation rituals.
